The 2023 RMIT Fashion Enterprise Global Experience, hosted by International Internships, included an intensive study tour to Indonesia. Students spent two weeks in Jakarta and Bandung, where they participated in visits to and/or collaboration with global fashion companies, factories, design and marketing offices, and fashion event agencies. The study tour involved a collaborative project with students from the Islamic Fashion Institute (IFI) and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) on behalf of project partner Rantai Tekstil Lestari (RTL) in the pursuit of improved knowledge of and engagement with sustainable fashion in the Indonesian market.
